Winner of the February Sketch Challenge is….

It was so fun to see the different takes on this month’s sketch, how some of you held very true to the original and then how others let the design take on a life of its own. That’s the great thing about sketches, they allow you do what you’re comfortable with, whatever that may be!

I had a tough time picking a winner because there were so many  that spoke to me.  It was down to two, but I had to pick one. So because I love getting the story onto the page, I went with one that had a bunch of  journaling. I have no idea what it says, but it’s such a dominant part of the design, I know it must be a good story.

So congratulations to MyaScrap! I loved the large journaling block and how she added the bright red stamped title with the Nate Basics Alphabet set. It’s a stunning extra touch that really makes the vertical title pop. And the almost-not-there stamped Viewmaster Reel stamp really anchors the design.

Thank you to everyone for playing along with the challenge this month, I really enjoyed seeing everyone’s creations over the last couple of weeks. We have a very talented group here at Cocoa Daisy!
