Hi it’s Lisa here and I’m excited to introduce to you my project kit

‘Love Letters’

Love Letters is a mini consertina style book that comes with complete instructions on how to make.

It’s full of pockets, mini envelopes and slots to hold all your little notes, keepsakes and of course your love letters.

It opens out in full so you can see all your pages and then ties up neatly with the bakers twine in the kit.

The kit contains some of the beautiful papers from the ‘Fourteen’ collection by Crate aswell as lots of goodies such as Crate stickers and mini alphas, envelopes, tags, a doilee, feathers and gems.

I’ve also used 3 Maya Mists that compliment the Crate papers very well. Cherry Metallic, Cotton Candy Metallic and Pink Ginger.

The story behind this project.

When I first thought of this kit I had visions of pretty layers, airmail envelopes and little notes. I was going to put together a mini book for my husband for Valentines. But then one morning whilst sat with my fellow CD teamies in Starbucks at CHA I had the idea of making this mini book about our LA trip instead. I had collected lots of bits and pieces from this trip and I had made some life time friends. This mini book to document this trip needed to be a special one. And as for the letters…. I asked each one of the girls to write me a letter to fold and keep in my book. This has really finished off the whole project for me now, having the extra personal touch to my beautiful project that will be treasured forever.

So as you can see, it doesn’t have to be made for a loved one. It can be turned in to a mini book for a trip/vacation. Great for all the tickets that you collect.

Or why not make a book about your close friends? Ask them to write you a short note. It’s so special to have someone’s handwritten note.

Whatever you choose to document this is guarenteed to be a very special project.

We will have a dedicated area on the message boards once your kits arrive where we can all chat about this project. You will be able to ask me questions when you strat making it and we can all discuss ideas and share photos. It’s going to be so much fun : )
