Product Spotlight: Divided Page Protectors…
Good Morning, All! I hope you are all having a fabulous Friday and have awesome weekend plans ahead!
Today I’ve got a little spotlight on some products we have in the Daisy Boutique that might have gone unnoticed. Did you know we have divided page protectors in the shop? No? Well, we do!!! And, there are so many amazing things you can do with them!
Let’s get started!
Project Life. I know you all already know about Project Life. PL is the most obvious use for the divided page protectors. Those of you out there already doing PL can get your refills shipped out with your monthly kits from Christine. Awesome, right? no extra orders from other online shops or extra shipping on those orders. One stop shopping.
I like one stop shopping.
Now to the less obvious ways to use the divided page protectors.
Have you ever thought to just use them in your 12×12 albums with your full page layouts? Use them to add extra photos or for little mini layouts, when you are short on time.
How about a full page photo in a divided page protector?
Cool, right? I was inspired by Kelly Purkey and Elise Blaha-Cripe to use a full size photo and I LOVE it!!!
Now, you all know how much I love a mini album, right? What if you want the mini book idea, but just want to put them in your regular 12×12 albums?
What about mini layouts in the little dividers? For my girls’ trip to Seattle, I used 2 divided page protectors and I’ve got that mini album feel and look, but the pages can just go in my 12×12 album with my other pages. Remember my Seattle pages from the October reveal?
You can even cut the dividers down to make the page sizes you like. I LOVE having different size pages in my books, even the 12×12 standard albums.
Here are a few more looks at my Seattle spread.
Journal right on the “white” areas of your photos. Just make sure you use a pen that will dry on the slick surface of a photo, without smearing. I like the Zig Photo Pen, but Sharpies and Slick Writers (from American Crafts) are good, too.
The divided pages are also fun for adding small things into the clear pages and sealing it up with sewing or staples. Things like glitter or confetti or small loose embellishments. It makes a little shaker pocket in the middle of your page. So cool! I just LOVE that look.
Ok. What other ideas can you come up with to use the divided page protectors? We’d love to see what you create. Just upload your pages to the gallery for us all to see and be inspired by.
Have an awesome weekend, All!

This is the most awesome post Alissa! You make me want to create!
Alissa, I just recently started combining 12×12 with divided plastics and really like the versatility. I really have to try dividing a large pic with several pockets–really adds a WOW factor to your pages. Thanks for he ideas.
Fabulous post, Alissa! Calling them mini-layouts made so much sense to me. I’ve stuggled with divided pages because I was trying to make them one whole page. A series of mini-layouts seems much more do-able. Thanks!
WOW, Alissa this is so awesome! Having just returned from Seattle, I am getting ready to start my vacation album and you’ve given me so many ideas! Been a fan for a long time, but more so after seeing this!
Love your full page photos divided, great post! Lovely shots, btw!
