September’s Sketch Challenge

Hello! And a happy new week to you all! I’m excited to bring you the sketch for this month. If you’re familiar with my work, you know I love to mix my alphabets and make long long titles. My sketch relies heavily on alphabets and you can mix them up as you please, or use all the same one. So it’s not just a sketch challenge, it’s also a title challenge, go for a bigger than normal title and you’ll knock this sketch out of the park!

Here’s what I did with the sketch, a layout about my kids and what their Newspaper teacher said as they walked in the room their first day of school. Annie’s a senior and Ethan’s a freshman, so it’s pretty phenomenal they have a class together, and they know it. I’m glad they have this time together.

I mixed alphabets from the September kits He Said, She Said, His, and Hers, and used the wooden potty people to replace the I’s in the word “siblings.” Get creative as you plan out your title. Could you use a button for an O? How about a backward 3 for an E? There are lots of fun ways to substitute letters in your titles, see what you can come up with this month.

You have until September 18th at 11 PM EDT to play along with this sketch. Please load your layouts into the gallery and leave a link here on this thread. One lucky participant of the sketch challenge will win a $10 voucher to spend in the Daisy Boutique. I’ll announce that on the blog on the 20th of September.

Have fun!
