Just for Fun Challenge – Being Thankful

Hello : )

It’s time for our mid month ‘just for fun’ challenge again. I thought we’d break away from the ‘scrap her style’ challenge this month and go topical with a ‘Being Thankful’ theme.  Thanks Giving is almost upon us and although in our family in England we don’t celebrate, we do talk around the table and discuss what we are thankful for. It’s so easy to take life and things in general for granted. So let’s get together this next month and share our ‘thankful’ projects together.    It doesn’t have to be a new project this month. This is a ‘just for fun’ challenge after all. It can be anything from a layout, card, mini book to a piece of art or an off the page project. Anything goes. Just link up to your blog below. We’d love to see.

I have a framed piece to share with you that lives in our family room.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what you have to share with us.

Now on to the winners from our ‘Just for Fun’ challenge last month. This was a tricky one. We all had so much fun with Jody’s scrap style. To be honest I couldn’t pick just one and ended up with 2. So here are our 2 winners.

Firstly Lisa with this LO : )

This really caught my eye with those journal tags. Aren’t they just wonderful?!! Imagine the time they must have taken. Love it Lisa, thank you.  I love how you used the sticker from your ‘Day in the Life’ kit too.

And next is Elina’s LO. I love these colours.

I love how this LO has been pieced together. It’s like a jigsaw with everything fitting together so well. Thank you Elina. I now want to go and lie on a beach : )

Thank you to everyone who played along with us this month.

If you want to share your ‘Thankful’ creations with us, please do so by adding a link to your work here or on the MB here, by 13th December 9pm EST.

Thank you so much.
