We are introducing a new monthly feature today. It’s called ‘Teaming up with…’.
Each month there will be a small group of the girls designing together all using one of the same design elements using the monthly kit.. It’s going to be really fun and interesting to see how each designer works this challenge in their own way and style. We hope you will find it fun and inspirational too.
The idea came whilst we were in CHA. There were 5 of us, Stephanie, Denise, Sharmaine, Mandyk and myself that got dressed up and had a laugh in the ‘Me and My Big Ideas’ photo booth. We all came away with the same photo. I thought it would be so much fun for us all to scrap with this photo and see what we each came up with. So that’s how this new monthly feature came about.
So let’s see how we all worked that photo then.
Here is Stephanie’s layout.
Stephanie trimmed her photo down and rounded the corners for a softer look. I love all that white space and the stitching. Those vintage cameras are so cute.
Sharmaine has also trimmed her photo down but left the corners square. The golden stars using this months stamp are a perfect touch and I spot some hidden journaling there too in a mini enevlope.
Here is Denise’s layout.
Denise’s page is wild and fun. She cut the photo into four squares and has used this months arrow stamps.
Here is Mandyk’s.
Mandy has scanned her photo and changed it to black and white and turned it into these cool photo strips. I love how Mandy has used the white alpha stickers from this months kit against the white cardstock and outlined them in black. So cool!!
And lastly mine.
I left my photo whole and just stuck three sides down turning it into a pocket. I’ve then slotted some bits and pieces from the day inside and added some journaling cards. I also used Ronda’s Crafters Workshop mask from the main kit around the outside.
I really hope you love this new monthly blog feature. We already have something fun planned for next month : )
