Feature Friday: Using Scraps

Hello! Emily here with a suggestion for how to use up those scraps that we all have laying around our scrap tables. Try punching them up and making cool patterns out of them.
Need inspiration? Quilts! When I got my January kit (still a few left in the shop, if you haven’t yet ordered your’s you can click here, it’s such a happy kit), I knew I wanted to use as many of the papers as possible on one layout, they were so cheery! So I went to my Pinterest boards, remembering I’d pinned a quilt that had a fun design. Then I remembered another quilt I’d pinned that was very similar, so I combined them!

This is the first quilt, I loved the colorful blocks with a huge amount of white space.

This is the second quilt, I loved how the plus signs were so distinct.

So I combined the two and came up with my Twenty Eleven layout. The perfect way to use up your scraps! For more ideas, go to Pinterest and do a search for quilts, the inspiration is amazing!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Emily
