Yesterday Alice wanted to look at her “special book”  (one of the albums I’ve made for her).  She was looking at the pages from her birth and she was looking at the first picture we’re they’ve just pulled her out (c-section) and I tell her “That’s when you came out of mommy’s tummy.”  She burst into tears and became hysterical.  I finally got her to calm down enough to tell me what was wrong.  “I don’t want them to cut me out of your tummy!  I want to stay in your tummy!”  If it wasn’t so sad it would have been funny!  She wouldn’t let me put the scrapbook away and kept turning back to the picture and crying and crying.  I finally was able to pull her away and get her down for a nap.  Needless to say, the scrapbook was hidden away and won’t be pulled out for quite a while!  Who knew scrapbooking could be so traumatic?!?
