Tales from the Bunker: September edition

Well we are back in the swing of the school days schedule here in the Drumheller household and it’s nice to have my normal work day back. Aside from the expected disdain for homework the boys have been coming home with smiles after school, which is always a good thing!

This last weekend I set up a first for the boys and I, we had a professional photographer take our picture. I’ve always had Mom or Amber take a few photos of us but after seeing my niece Mary’s senior photos I thought it would be fun to have some professional photos taken. Christy Pacanowski did an awesome job! Mary came with us and took a couple outtake photos, I thought it would be fun to scrap the whole process:

I cannot wait to see the finished photos! And of course I will be sharing them with you all :)

This month’s kit “He Said She Said” and it’s add ons sold out very quickly , and I know that there were a number of people that would have liked a chance to order the main kit and some of the add ons, so we have increased our quantities for October. I have also been busy putting together the Halloween project kit “Bag of Bones” and have a couple sneak peeks to share (I love posting sneaks on instigram, feel free to follow me; christinedrumheller ). The Halloween project kit is always one of my favorites to put together, and this year’s is even better as it has a fun little twist to it :)

I didn’t get to play much with my August kit because I was busy putting the project kit together so before I packed it up I wanted to create at least one layout with it:

I also amazed myself and was able to squeeze in another layout using September’s kit! I just could not put it away without playing with the patterned paper one more time!

I am looking ahead at the next couple months and it is shaping up to be a very busy fall! We have so many fun and exciting things coming up; Julie’s art journal project kit and the fall crop to name a few. I really hope that you can join us for the fall crop, the design team does such a fabulous job and it’s sure to get you inspired!

This September marked my 2 year anniversary of taking over Cocoa Daisy and I am thrilled to say that I still get excited every month when I lay out the kit for the first time, I love seeing how it all comes together. Thanks for supporting Cocoa Daisy and allowing me to share my passion for pretty patterned paper with you all.

I hope your September
