It’s Make & Take Time!
When I worked at the LSS, that sadly closed a few years ago, I loved hosting Make & Takes. I got to teach the customers a fun little trick and chat with them at the same time. Today, I’ve got a little Make & Take for you. Although, you don’t really get to “take” it, but, you can make your own with a few supplies you’ve recently received from Cocoa Daisy.
This project started with washi tape. I love washi tape and I have a little “problem” collecting it. LOL! Christine has also been so kind to include a roll or 2 of washi in at least one of the add ons or the main these past few months and, because I already have so much I tried to think of more ways to use it. I’ve used it as border strips on layouts and minis and thought, why not on cards and tags? Why not make a frame with the washi?
And stamped the “He said. She said” stamps in Versamark on my card. You will need to space them to allow for the words in between. then emboss with the Zing. Mustard is my favorite color of Zing.
Next, apply the washi tape to each edge as wide as you like the look of. I used the points in the chevron pattern on the tape to help me line it up. Fold it over the edge and trim off the excess.
Next is the easy part. Oh, it’s all easy.
Add you letter stickers to complete the sentiment and embellish as you like. I used the chipboard letters from the Main Kit and the heart and twine from the Embellishment Pack and the washi tape from the Hers add on.
The stamps and the embossing powder and the Versamark ink can be found in the boutique.
I also made a couple tags, using the same technique with the washi tape.
I just love how the patterned tape adds just enough pattern to the projects without overwhelming them.
I hope you enjoyed this Make & Take and I really hope you will share your projects in the gallery. I would love to see what you make with your washi tape.

Great projects!
What a great idea! Maybe it will help me let go and quit hoarding the tape! Lol! Also, love how you rewrapped the tag string around the “O” in “Hello”. Cute little detail!
