Good morning! Emily here with one of the funnest posts of the month, the Gallery Spotting post. I love having an EXCUSE to rummage through the gallery, finding layouts by our amazing members that inspire me to create.

We’ll start out with this lovely piece by Aliza (alizadeutsch). The soft colors and the cluster tipping off the right of the photo really caught my eye. And the title says it all. Aliza’s really good at capturing emotions about her loved ones.

This goofy one by Katrina (katrinahunt) made me giggle when I saw it on her blog last week. Katrina’s new to Cocoa Daisy and one of our loudest cheerleaders! She said this layout was a little out of her style comfort zone, I’m glad she tried something new though! Notice the little daisy in the bottom right corner? That’s something she tries to add to one layout per kit. Cool idea huh?

I love that Margrethe (margrethe) is back in our gallery. She has a graphic style that she’ll sometimes add a bit of mess to, it’s always a treat to see what she creates. I love the bright cheery colors she’s put together here, and the photos are stunning!

Crystal (crystalyocum) has been lighting up our message boards this past month and it’s been lovely to get to know her better. She’s a mom that loves her kids, which she makes evident in the work she creates. This layout is a scraplift, one of the best ways I know to get your mojo going. Looking at Crystal’s work with the Hello Sunshine kit, I’ll say her mojo is definitely on fire!

Sherry (Sherry C) really nailed the sketch challenge this month with this fresh layout about her favorite summer flower. I also have this same flower in my yard and have a similar love for it. I love that she made the layout feel as lovely as the flower, an excellent choice of colors and textures at work here!

We love Marie (mison), she’s been around Cocoa Daisy for some time now and you can always count on her for some funny play on the English language. It’s not her native tongue, but she sure knows how to work it! I love all the circles in this layout using the July kit, Note to Self. My favorite part? The way she uses the Jenni Bowlin mini alphabet 7s in place of Ls. Very clever!
