a little weekend share…
hello all and happy saturday!
we usually only have posts over here during the week and the DT has the weekend off. haha! well, this weekend i have a treat for you. i had more to share of my altered “a list” book with you all. and, i will have more in future months and, maybe, a little challenge for you all.
well, i’ve been working with all of my lovely past kits adding more and more completed pages to it.
i had that corner punch in the garage sale box. HAD to pull it out to repurpose it as a chevron punch.
i stitched those little chevron pieces together before i glued them to the book. glued just down the center so the flaps will stick up.
i handcut out the cent of this 4×6 journal card and just stuck the photo behind it.
the ampersand page is still missing the photo. that heart is punched out of one of the basicgrey flower pieces from a past pack of die cut papers and canvas pieces.
the letters are loose so i can tuck the photo underneath when i finally get it printed.
i ran out of t’s from that letter set from crate. oh, and the little tab at the top is the part that punches out for the hang tag hole on a sheet of border stickers from crate.
yes, i go to my hair girl monthly.
that’s a one s. it just wouldn’t fit on the little print from printstagram. oh, and i covered the wood heart with washi tape and just tore the edges clean.
that’s all for now, daisies!
have a great weekend!

Fabulous idea to use the remainder of past kits…..thank you for sharing!
Extremely cute idea. I have always loved altered art and that is really a cute idea. Would make a great Christmas gift.
Very cute idea!!! I am going to have to remember this. I just started smashing..about a 3 weeks ago. I have 1 smash book..the mini. Maybe I’ll just grab a book like this and get busy! Thanks for the inspiration!
I love the idea of using an old book as the album background…I want to try this for sure!
I love this idea and think I might need to try it!! Do you have any hints as to how many pages to sew together?
Thanks!
Thanks, Elizabeth! As far as the book goes, come to the crop at the end of October and all your questions will be answered.
