Thank Goodness for Inspiration

Source: joyshope.com via Dawn on Pinterest

Hello Cocoa Daisy friends!
I have some lovely inspiration pieces for you today. I really leaned heavily on them for the March kit, Pier 39. I loved the kit but really struggled with the softer colors, I’m a bright-loving girl, so I had to turn off that part of my brain and just create for creating’s sake.
Are you like me, you see something and can’t wrap your head around it? The jars on the Dear Lizzy paper did just that to me. I thought, “How am I EVER going to use this paper?” I almost put it into the donate pile, but then I found the above picture and an idea came very quickly. I find that when I think outside the box, some of my most beloved creations occur. So tell me, what else could you put in the jar?

I love how this display looks, and again, you could think outside this display and see how it would be easy to take three jars and frame them too. Lots of possibilities here!
You could wrap twine around the jar and hang something from the twine (good thing the kit has baker’s twine and buttons in it, don’t you think?

wonderfully said Emily. Yes, that does happen to me too sometimes and then I will see how someone else used it so well and think? wow, I never saw it that way!

Tell me what you're thinking...
