We had been in North Carolina visiting Scott’s brother and his family and then went on to Emerald Isle for our annual vacation with my whole family. Usually I have a hard time switching over to vacation mode but this year I really embraced it. I thought I would post from there but a slow internet connection and a card reader that went kaput but an end to those delusions.
Just a quickie to say I am back and will be posting later today. The kids both have a camp to go to concentrate on getting the domestic morning going. If you are familiar with Oregon weather you know that rain is a very rare thing here in the summer. When we do get it, it’s usually just a quick sprinkle. Yesterday it poured all day and night with a high of 59! Hoping we see better weather for their little camps today. Camp just doesn’t seem like camp when it’s in the 50′s…
But… as I don’t like to post without a photo, here’s a picture of the sweet little stamp Kim designed for the August kit! Can’t wait to share all the fun new things that will be in next month’s kit!!!

I know what you mean about posting without a photo – just ain’t the same if it’s not pictorial – I have been looking for a birdie stamp here for ages & was about to buy an Autumn Leaves one online…so good thing I checked this post – now I don’t have to!
