Scraps Mini book
I’m a very messy scrapper, really you would think a tornado has gone through the area when I am busy scrapping! I don’t really know how to scrap any other way. So when it comes to making a journal or mini album that’s the way I create best. Once upon a time I attempted to be neat and and organized but soon I began to think why not scrap the way that’s most comfortable for me! Hence most of my pages are made using scrap bits and pieces that I hoard in a box and several bags. Once I splatter, paint and glitter most pieces are saved for another project.
For this mini I began by finding a few papers in a yellow color scheme. I work best when I stay within a 2-3 palette color scheme. It’s much easier and faster to grab them all and your scraps in those colors. Once I have everything around me I can usually complete a little book in an hour or two.
All of the papers I used were from the January and February kits. There is always plenty to work with.
Lately I’ve been using lots of hearts and flowers. My son is 8 so he will never know…ha ha Until one day when he gets older! I thought the yellow was an ok color scheme for a boy, with just a few pink accents.
For the most part the album is complete, I may add a little bit of journaling on tags or on some of the pages at a later date. What I like about this type of mini is that you can always add little bits and pieces after you’ve completed it.
I have a few more pages that I will add to the gallery soon.
Thanks everyone for stopping by!
