From the Daisy Patch

Playing with paper strips.

For this months idea on how to use up your scraps I wanted to direct your attention to all those little left over strips of patterned paper you find laying on your desk after diving into your Cocoa Daisy kit. Something amazing happens when you take all those strips of paper and line them up side by side; you get your very own unique bit of patterned paper! Because Tricia coordinates the colors and patterns of the papers in each kit so well those strips of paper will go together with out much effort on your part. So if you want a simple, quick way to use up some of your paper scraps just line up some strips of paper. You can use the strips as your background like I did in this layout, or you could adhere the strips on a piece of cardstock and punch shapes from it and use them as accent pieces.

I hope this has inspired you to play with little strips of paper! Have a great week everyone!
