Being the guest designer this month feels like coming home. I was thrilled when Tricia asked me to be the guest designer for the month of June. It has been a pleasure to be able to create with all the Daisy Divas and once again be an active member of the incredibly creative family at Cocoa Daisy.
This past year and a half has been quite a whirlwind and I feel Tricia has had a very important part in my scrapbooking successes. I was an active Daisy Diva from October 2006 through March 2008. During this time Tricia gave me the creative freedom I needed to discover my style and perfect my techniques. In May of 2007, I was picked as one of 5 master scrapbookers in Martha Stewart’s scrapbooking contest and in August of 2007, was chosen as a 2008 Memory Makers Master. In January of 2008 I started writing and working on 100 projects for my upcoming book, scheduled for publication in February 2010.
My work has been published in magazines such as Memory Makers, Scrapbooks etc., Better Homes and Gardens Holiday Crafts and Scrapbooking & Cards Today as well as numerous idea books like Holiday Home, Scrapbook Trends, Paper Trends, Simply Handmade, Paper Creations and Scrapbooking & Beyond.
Presently I am the Design Team Coordinator for Maya Road and a Certified Fiskars Demonstrator. I live in Frisco, Texas with my husband, two daughters and three dogs. I love all things vintage and can’t seem to create any type of project without adding a little machine stitching or glitter someplace.
