A small diary for our vacation

I’m going skiing with my family next week and we’re all so excited. When we told Linus (6 years old) back in January that we were going skiing in the end of March he immediately started packing. :) And finally, after all this waiting  – Sunday is the day when we leave. Since this is the first time we are going skiing together as a family I want to document our vacation. I don’t want to bring a lot of scrapbooking supplies but instead I decided to create a really simple diary where the whole family can have fun together and write and draw – Alva doesn’t really know how to write yet ;) – about our trip while we’re in the middle of it.

I simply created a set of papers that I punched with my Bind-It-All. I’ll bring the loose sheets on our trip and that way I’ll have more freedom when assembling it and binding it, when we get back home. “Idre” is the name of the place where we are going. I glued down the patterned paper to the red front page and used one of my old decorative scissors to create the fancy edge.

I hope I’ll be able to show you later on how this little experiment turns out… :) Be sure to have a great weekend everyone!
