Being in the Holiday mood, I thought what better way to celebrate, than to make some easy Christmas & holiday cards for my family & friends all over the world. My December kit was perfect for the project too. So without too many extras, I was able to whip these beaut’s up in a flash!

I’ll be posting a card a day, for the next x4 days…so make sure you pop back for a daily update, OK!

Remember we would love to see your creations, so if you get the time to make some of these cards of your own, PLEASE upload them into the Cocoa Daisy gallery for everyone to enjoy too :o )

Today I will explain this one: img_0615

Instructions:

  1. Cut a 4.5″x4.5″ square card from the green card stock.
  2. Then cut a 4.25″x4.25″ square from the Tinkering Ink paper.
  3. Taking dark green card stock cut a tree shape, dividing it into x4 pieces. Snip into the bottoms of each piece & curl up around a pencil to make the ‘leaves’.
  4. Stick together on-top of a brown tree trunk to secure.
  5. Adhere onto card & attach a piece of lace or braid along bottom edge of card with x2 brads.
  6. Using a journal sticker or stamped label, attach sentiment.
  7. Decorate tree with star & baubles (mine were from the Crate paper die-cuts)
  8. Complete with personalized message inside.

And that’s it…quick & easy!
