Kim’s November Layouts

Poor Kim!  Sometimes it takes forever for her kits to reach South Africa!  But, she always makes the wait to see what she comes up with worthwhile!  I am just in love with what she created this month!!!!

This one, “Their Love” is my favorite:

Check this month’s designer gallery to see the rest of Kim’s layouts as well as all the amazing layouts created by our talented Daisy Divas!!

A bit of clarification on ship dates and other information

I am very sorry for any confusion about the ship date of Ali’s Family Gratitude Project.  One of the girls that works with me mistakenly noted on order updates that the Family Gratitude Project would not be shipping until the end of this month.  That was an error.  The kit is shipping this week as expected.  We received our order from 7 Gypsies late Monday afternoon and are scrambling to get all the kits assembled and out the door this week so that everyone can get working on their projects just as soon as possible.   I am very sorry for any inconvenience our miscommunication might have caused.

The kit that IS shipping at the end of the month is the December Daily.  Because demand was so high for the kit we decided to reissue it after emailing several dozen customers to insure that they would still be interested in that kit even with a late November ship date.  We still have a few of those in stock.

I’ve also heard from quite a number of customers who missed out on the Family Gratitude Spinner.  We are currently gauging interest to see if we should restock that kit.  If you are interested in purchasing the Family Gratitude kit, please email me at tricia@cocoadaisy.com to be added to the wait list.  Caveat here, I would imagine the very best turnaround time on that would be at least 2 weeks, but that should give you enough time to receive and assemble the kit in time for Christmas or to give it as a Christmas gift.

I hope that clarifies everything!  Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

And the winner is…

Who doesn’t love a mystery giveaway??? I do. I do.. My favorite stress buster is going shopping at Goodwill and finding something vintage/used and being able to reuse it and save money at the same time…That just takes all the stress away for me….thanks for the chance to win…

Congratulations!  And here is what you’ve won!  (Please email me with your shipping information.)

Thank you for all the great stress-busting tips!  I really enjoyed reading what everyone does to relieve their own stress.  Baths, naps, exercise, scrapping, talking and tv seem to be the overwhelming favorites — along with eating that is!  Reading the ways everyone else destresses, I realized that I am wound a little too tight right now as the only one of those activities that I regularly engage in right now is my rocky road ice cream addiction.  I think I could definitely use a bit more scrapping, talking and maybe even tv in my life.  I’ve never been a napper and baths just aren’t enough of a productive use of time for me when I can take a quick shower instead… Yep, I think in the new year I might need to give a little more consideration to balance!

And here is the 3rd giveaway in celebration of our anniversary month!

One lucky winner will receive the Cocoa Daisy upcoming December kit, Winter’s Garden, and a set of the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Anthology Stamp Set that Ali used in her Family Gratitude Spinner.   To win please just leave me a comment on how you plan to spend Thanksgiving — and if you are not a Thanksgiving celebrator, then tell me about a family tradition around the holiday season.

And if you would like another chance to win, check out the Daisy Diner Scrap-off!  To find all the details on this contest, check it out here

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth this weekend to say hello!  We had a lot of fun at CKC-Seattle and are looking forward to the Portland show in March!  Stacy Julian came and visited in our booth both days of the show and it was so fun to see her in action!  She is just amazing!!  If you have been wondering when her Cocoa Daisy kit class will be available on Big Picture Scrapbooking it probably won’t be until the end of the month following an unfortunate incident involving a rental car, a laptop and a thief.  Poor Stacy — but she seems to be taking it very much in  stride.

In case everything Stacy, Kelli and Lain created with the November kit wasn’t enough Cocoa Daisy goodness for you, Lisa Damrosch designed some adorable layouts with the kit!  This one was my favorite and you can see the rest on her blog.

On a sad note, yesterday I was watching the local news and I saw that a woman out walking with her 2 year old in a stroller, was struck by a car.  The driver then fled the scene.  Fortunately it seems that both will be all right.  I saw it again on the morning news.  It was awful, but one of those things that you are horrified by as you listen to it and then all too quickly forget about it.  All of that changed today when I got a call from Ali.  Maricel, who had taken our photo earlier this month was the woman hit by the car!  She and her daughter are so, so very lucky to be alive.  Now that the victim is someone I’ve met, the incident is even more powerful to me and so eerily close to home.  Maricel has a fractured pelvis but her little girl was mostly protected by her jog stroller.  Just another one of those instances that reminds you just how fragile life is…
