And this is what she had to say:

In Brunei, we don’t have a voting system. Except for voting for Head of Village (this I’ve not experienced too as it is not that compulsory). The only one I voted for was way back in school… choosing a school monitor… pretty easy.. hands up on ur favz.

Thank you to everyone for taking the time to tell me about your voting experience — I was really moved to hear how precious the right to vote is to so many of you!

And… on a political note — guess who was sitting next to Scott and I at the bar while we were waiting for our table — Obama’s brother-in-law!

I hope to see everyone play along next week when I do another giveaway!

WOW!

All week I’ve been raving to anyone who would listen about all the amazing comments everyone has been leaving! I have loved hearing about how everyone spent election day and the election process in other countries. It seems like it is a positive moment for almost all. Thank you for sharing!!!

The response to Ali’s Family Gratitude Proect has been amazing! Ali did such a great job on this kit! I can’t wait to create this myself.

I went down to Eugene to meet Ali for a belated birthday lunch today. We ended up sitting near Maricel of Bella Art Girl and she came over and introduced herself. And then took this great photo of us! Thanks Maricel!!

Then it was back home for a busy afternoon of work. After sleeping the night before from 1:30 – 4am I was sacked out by 10 (very unusual). Today we have a birthday party for our soon to be big SIX year old! We’re taking some of his friends to see Madagascar 2 and some pizza. Should be fun!

We’ll choose a winner when we get home this evening. Hope you are having a good weekend!
