Stacy Julian and Come Play Eugene… and a puppy!

I’m trying to type this with a puppy on my lap — Daisy is pretty certain that that is the only place she wants to be!  It’s making getting anything accomplished just about impossible.  But, she’s so darn cute it’s really hard to mind!

This was going to be my week to get back in good blog form, but alas, that hasn’t happened between driving to Portland to get Daisy, playing with Daisy, pink eye Alice which meant no school and a trip to the doctor’s yesterday AND there’s no school for her today or tomorrow.  Not my most productive or bloggy week ever….

So, we have a few exciting things coming up!  Stacy Julian’s kit goes on sale on Saturday and I am so excited for it and the “12345″ album!  I think I’m going to use it one for each of the kids’ first 5 years!

Here’s a little sneak at a couple of layouts Stacy created with the kit.

"Fairy"

"Reflect"

Love both of them!!!  And in case you are wondering — the alpha stamps Stacy used in the second layout are the Fontwerks Starfiin Alpha — they will also be available on the site.

And here’s what Stacy has to say about the kit:

Hello!

Colorful

Eclectic

Warm and Cozy

FUN

Fall-ish

Versatile …

This is Stacy and these are all words I would use to describe my first-ever “favorite products” kit with Cocoa Daisy. I so enjoyed the adventure of gathering products to share with you – I put a lot of thought into selecting great colors, patterns, textures and that are functional, full of repetitive elements and sure to enable good design whether you are creating pages or projects.

I am creating a FREE Projects Plus class at Big Picture Scrapbooking, called Cocoa Daisies and Stacy (www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com) where you can get more information on this kit, the thought behind it and the potential it has for unleashing creativity in you. My online classroom will be available mid November. Once you are registered at BPS, all you have to do is add this NEW Projects Plus class to your shopping cart and then log in to learn!

See you in class,

Stacy Julian

****(Now I have a puppy sleeping under my chair…)

And in case you were on the fence about coming to the ComePlayEugene classes, we still have a few spots open for Saturday — Emily and Jill will each be teaching a class, you’ll also receive a Cocoa Daisy November kit.  On top of that, Ali Edwards will be there discussing her December Daily project and we will also have kits available for the December Daily.  It should definitely be a fun day!  If you are interested in attending, please email Emily at emily@cocoadaisy.com for all the necessary information!

And… without further ado, I’d like to introduce our new mascot, Daisy-dog!

It’s official — it was love at first sight for all of us!

Ok, got to run — off to a Halloween party!  I got bangs yesterday so that I could play Sarah Palin and Scott’s going as the First Dude!  Should be fun!

Just in case you haven’t yet heard the news — Stacy Julian is not only our guest designer for November but she also designed the kit.  It was so much fun working with her this summer at CHA to find just the perfect products for her kit.  And I must say, I LOVE everything she picked out!  And, to make it even more fun, look for a special something-something on Big Picture Scrapbooking in conjunction with the kit!

You can read Stacy’s take on the kit here.

Back to packing up the last of the kits!
