I don’t watch a lot of tv but I do love my “Grey’s Anatomy” and so I was one happy camper last night! And… it was such a good episode too! I panicked when Rose said she was pregnant (oh no, Meredith and Derek aren’t going to end up together again!), had a hmmm…. moment when Denny made his appearance (isn’t he supposed to have a reoccurring role this season?), and what to make of the new McMan on the show? Will he be back? Now, to survive TWO more weeks without any Grey’s. Sigh….
I set aside a bit of time today to actually create with the October kit! I don’t find much time these days for scrapbooking but when I do it’s almost cathartic — aha! This is why we allow this hobby, past time, obsession (whatever you prefer to call it) to to become such a huge part of who we are!
I was working on a mini album with the October kit when I got waylaid. I was intending to use the Prima frame stamp on a piece of green cardstock to use in the album when I got a bit carried away and created a layout instead. I think I have found my new indispensible stamp — the uses for this one very well could be endless. The layout is a retrospective of the kids’ summer and the stamp worked perfectly for that!
***I’m not sure why it looks so funky behind the KI Memories green butterfly patch – it’s actually part of the Hambly transparency…
Tomorrow I am off to a charity event in southern Oregon — about a 4 hr drive from here. Hello 4:30am alarm clock — don’t think I’m going to like that part of the road trip very much.
But Ali and I always have fun on the road together so I’m sure the 8 hrs in the car will pass very quickly! And I’m looking forward to seeing Karen — it’s been way too long.
Sunday Scott, the kids and I are going to a wine bottling at a semi-local winery with about 100 of our closest friends! To make it even better it’s supposed to be up near 80 degrees — should make for a very fun afternoon…
I hope you have fun plans for the weekend too!
