Sorry I’ve been a bad blogger. We got home on Tuesday afternoon which was about 20 hrs later than planned. United decided that we would much rather stay in Chicago for a night then get home as originally planned so they went ahead and cancelled our flight. There’s definitely lots of fun to be had when stranded somewhere with a 2 and 4 yr old and then getting to wait in line for 2 hrs to find out about getting a hotel and a flight out. We all survived (although we were looking a bit disheveled with unbrushed hair and day old clothes!). I am the queen of travel misadventures so this was actually nothing too out of the ordinary. Wendy swears she’s never traveling anywhere with me because of it (did I happen to mention that we also all had horrible colds the entire time we were gone, I got a stomach virus while we were at Scott’s reunion and I packed for cool weather when in fact it was in the upper 80s almost the entire trip). One day I’ll have to do a post that’s just on my travel misadventures…

Despite all of that, we had a great time. The kids loved hanging out with their cousins. It was great to see my sister, her family and my parents. Scott really enjoyed catching up with old friends and we had a great overnight stay with friends in NYC. We managed to squeeze quite a bit into one trip! Where are the photos you ask? As we were heading out the door while up at West Point, the little thing that sticks out and holds the battery in place in the camera broke off so no camera… which means no photos…

So in Cocoa Daisy news, we are off to Grant’s Pass, Oregon tomorrow for the Southern Oregon Scrapbook Convention. We are going to have a booth there. If you are in the area we’d love to meet you, so stop by and say hello!

Also, there were quite a few people who expressed interest in the McKenna and Anna add-ons that sold out in a flash. If you would be interested in purchasing one of those add-ons, please let us know because we are trying to gauge whether or not there would be sufficient interest to make it worthwhile to order all the products again.
