August sketch challenge


Hi everyone! It’s time for the August sketch challenge and I hope you’ll feel inspired to play along! I’ve created a very simple sketch with lots of room for your own interpretation, and I can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with!

 

Please upload your layout to your CD gallery or your blog and leave us a link here. Deadline is August 20, 11 pm EST. One lucky winner will be picked and will receive a $10 voucher to spend in the CD store.

 

 

Here is my layout, with a photo of two of my kids at my brother’s wedding earlier this summer. It was a wonderful day, despite some raining, and I love this photo of these two. The wedding took place on an island in the Stockholm archipelago and the kids were so excited about the boat ride. The wood veneer boat was the perfect embellishment.

 

 

Here’s Sharmaine’s beautiful take on the sketch. I really love how she used the paper with the tabs at the top of her page!

 

 

Jody turned the sketch around and created a super fun card!
