Tips and Tricks Wednesday: Journal around the edge

I love adding my journaling around the edge  – sometimes around the edge of my layout, and sometimes around the edge of a patterned paper or a block of papers and photos. It’s an easy way to create a layout where the journaling is part of the design.

I did this on two of my layouts with the April kit. Here I wrote my journaling around the cardstock. Since I used a black pen, the journaling stands out and creates a border around my page.

On this one I wrote my journaling around the patterned paper. Again, the dark pen makes the text stand out, but it still doesn’t interfere with the design as a whole.

I also used the same technique when creating this layout, using the March kit.

Have a lovely Wednesday!

Anna
