One little card

I made this little card that I wanted to show you, using the yummy August kit. I used the Waste Not Paper card as a base and I covered the inside of the card with a piece of the Rouge de Garance lace.

I used small amounts of liquid glue to attach the lace. A good advice is to remember not to apply glue on the part of the lace that will be visible through the cut out hole in the cardstock… Luckily I managed to wipe the excess away before it made any damage. :)

The next thing I did was using my sewing machine, randomly stiching three circles around the opening.

I used the 7gypsies tape to secure the thread and on top of the tape I added a couple of cut out trees from one of the patterened papers in the kit. I finished off by using letter stickers for the message (hej means hi in Swedish) and some fluid chalk around the edges of the card.

  4. Love the card Anna, I really like the stitching. If you had not been able to get the glue off the front, you could have added glitter! Glitter makes everything better:)
