From the Daisy Patch

We are excited to introduce this month’s Daisy Devotion, Lisa Saunders.   Lisa brings much life & laughter to the message boards as well as an awesome style to the gallery.  Strong, Open, and just plain lovely are just a few words to describe this fabulous gal.  We are happy to share with you a little more about fellow Daisy.

favorite cocoa Daisy Kit… difficult one as I really do love each one every month. Maybe if I had to choose the Sept 2009

color preference… I love browns, greens and turquoise right now.

my style… This varies lots, I love paints, misting, layering & journaling though. I’m definitely not a clean and simple scrapper

proudest moment….Watching my 10yr old daughter sing with her school choir at The Royal Albert Hall in London last November.

first job… I left school really young and worked at the British Consulate in Dusseldorf Germany. It was a great job and gave me so many different and valuable experiences

alarm clock… 5.30am. I love early mornings

biggest challenge… Finally leaving an abusive husband in 2005

fondest memory… Our family holiday to Florida in 2007 where I married my husband Ade

perfect day … A normal perfect day at home would be …woken by blue skies, sunshine and a latte. Have some guilt free scrappy time, some baking and family time and finish it off with a good book before bed.

But I love our trips to Florida and love it being just the 4 of us away from everything and just having fun in the sunshine. So that would be perfect too.

wildest dream…To have a huge house, have 2 more kids, a variety of sheep, chickens and guinea pigs, a big veggie patch and be a successful business woman too. And still be able to have lots of holidays  ….it’s a dream, so anything goes eh?!

favorite movie… Holiday

my life… A busy one. I count myself as a SAHM, but I work for myself full time, I keep our house, I cook from scratch most days, I bake, I’m a happy wife and Mum. I find time to scrap most days. I love it and wouldn’t have it any other way : )
