A sneak peek at November

By:      comments (3)

Hi ladies,

Mou here :) Thought I’d share one of my layouts I did with the Cocoa Daisy November kit.

CDSplendor

The warm browns, lovely pinks and muted Kraft patterns make me want to pull out all Fall photos and scrap away. For this page, I cut out a branch from one of the patterned papers and used it as a mask. I sprayed Glimmer Mist but you can really use any ink or paint you have at home. Once it dried, I used the ‘mask’ itself  as an accent along the bottom part of the layout and stitched it in place. I cut out a few flowers from the Making Memories Diecut paper and glued them around and added shimmer and a few velvet brads. This a  no-waste kit for me. Every last piece will be used up :)

If you haven’t already seen the main kit, peek here: http://www.cocoadaisy.com/blog/everyday/2227/are-you-ready-for-the-november-kit-and-a-chance-to-win/

Have a great week :)

Mou

Love how you used your leaf mask and Glimmer Mist! I might just have to ‘lift’ this idea!

  3. BEAUTIFUL MOU! I love how you used the leaves as a mask but then included the mask on your LO! Those orange colors are wonderful!
