Helena won a Cocoa Daisy Scraplift Challenge earlier in the summer and due to some scheduling clashes, we asked her to prepare a layout with the kit that she won from July to create a fun layout to inspire us for our blog.

Helena

In her own words: “I’ve created this layout with the beautiful July kit. I love grids and so I created a grid with photos of my son from 2006 until 2009. I used a piece of bubble wrap to stamp on the background with acrylic paint (Ranger’s Dabber) to create a layer. Then I attached the photos, used machine stitching to give some dimension. Also the stitching on the upper left corner of the grid gives a starting point for the eye. I created a cluster of flowers, journaling labels and the die cut tree on the lower part of the layout. The big fuchsia felt flower ties nicely the color of the acrylic paint and the stitching. I’m very happy every time I can add flowers on a “boy” layout.”

Thanks for playing with us Helena! To read more about Helena, check out her blog.
