Make-N-Take : Holiday Ornament Gift Bag

I was having some fun playing around with my scraps from the Winter Magpie kit and came up with an idea that I thought would be fun to share with you…a holiday gift bag (because we can always use another one of those around this time of year it seems). See below for the complete project details.

Supplies: kraft gift bag, scraps from Winter Magpie kit, red fiber, cardstock, adhesive, black ink, holiday stamp set, staples and stapler, circle cutting system and paper trimmer.

Step 1: Trim a piece of cardstock to fit on the front of your gift bag leaving an even border around all edges.

Step 2: Trim a patterned piece of paper from your kit and adhere it on to your plain cardstock, again, leaving an even border around all edges.

Step 3: Cut out circles (mine measured 3.5 inches) out of coordinating scraps from your kit (4 seem to make a nice full ornament).

Step 4: Now fold all of your circles in half.

Step 5: Stack all of your circles together and staple them along the fold (or you can sew them).

Step 6: Now adhere your loop of red fiber to the top, back of your ornament.
