We wanted to share some of the great project life pages that our Design Team has created using this month’s Day in the Life Kit:
Whew! What a month! April has shipped out with the debut of our new collaborative line with Simple Stories, our new Day in the Life project life kit, and we have let out some sneaks of the Project Art kit. Amidst all of this my Mom and Dad have been in the middle of packing up their home of the last 39 years and moving into a condo. A big life change for them, but I think they are really going to enjoy their new home.
I took the boys over to the old house this week for one last visit:
The May sneaks are up and again I can’t wait to share the full reveal of our main kit, add ons and our Day in the Life kit. This month’s mix of papers is going on my top 10! Speaking of sneaks, I’m sure you have noticed how the sneak images have changed. We are always looking to keep things updated and fresh and I felt that the old way of displaying our sneaks on the tags had run its course, so our resident graphic designer, Stephanie whipped up the amazing new sneak headers. I loved the headers that Stephanie created but I haven’t thought of exactly how I want to sneak the stamps yet, I think it’s important to give you an idea of what the stamps look like when they are actually stamped so a digital image won’t work. Then, late last night I finally had an idea hit me:
This sneak includes all of our stamps; Main Kit, Day in the Life kit, and the stamp subscription.
I am very thrilled to say that we have also updated our system so that if you have signed up for a subscription through Paypal it will now do an automatic withdrawal – no more monthly invoices!! I will be sending out a newsletter soon with all the details on how to switch your Paypal subscription over to this much more convenient system.
Make sure to join us on Sunday the 28th for the full reveal of our May kit at 9pm EST.
That’s all for now Hope everyone is having a wonderful Spring!
Can you feel the beat? We’ll have your toes a tappin’, your fingers a snappin’, and your head a boppin’ with our May kit, Record Label. We capture the hey day of the Rock and Roll era with its mock turtles, chunky glasses, bouffants, and ankle boots in our May kit with a variety of funky patterns, trendy shapes, and groovy surprises from manufacturers like Basic Grey, Simple Stories/Cocoa Daisy, Teresa Collins, and Echo Park.
Add ons Buddy, Johnny B, and Chuck make the perfect trio of backup singers, and our very popular first Day in the Life add on returns strong to prove it’s not a one hit wonder with our Project Life fans. Our awesome Day in the Life: May edition is back with more exclusive die cuts and the awesome 3×4 cards designed by Stephanie.
As the Design Team creates, watch for the sneaks we’ll be posting on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and our message boards over the next couple of weeks. Be sure you’re following us to get all the goods.

Free. Cocoa Daisy Grab Bags
Every month we have leftover bits and pieces from our kits and add ons. The Bunker is starting to get a little tight, so we have decided to create some Grab Bags. Each Grab Bag will be filled with at least $25.00 worth of goodies from the last few month’s kits and add ons.
2. Share this Facebook post on your timeline and be entered to win a Free Grab Bag! One winner will be picked on Friday April 19th.
3. And if you’re a current subscriber, Christine didn’t forget you! While supplies last, if you email her at firstname.lastname@example.org and extend your subscription another 6+ months, she’ll send you a Grab Bag as well!
So hurry because this won’t last long!

All the necessities that you will need to start your own art journal. With the purchase of the starter kit you will get an introductory art journaling video presentation by Ronda Palazzari!

Project Art will not be a subscription – and we will have limited quantities.
On sale according to our regular schedule: April 28th for subscribers to the scrapbook kit and May 1st for everyone else.

Here in Michigan it is still cold and grey, with a few mounds of snow scattered through the yard and to say I am ready for spring is an understatement! I am ready to see the flowers start poking up through the dirt and the leaf buds on the trees begin to open, but most of all I am just ready for some warmth in the air. But we have had plenty to keep our minds off the cold, grey weather with all the exciting new things we have been busy working on this month. I can’t wait for reveal this Thursday when we finally get to show you the exclusive papers we have created with Simple Stories, our new Day in the Life project life kit and of course our main kit, stamps and add ons. We are still working on the final details of our Project Art kit and should have some sneaks of that out mid April. I am hoping we will be debuting it with our May kit. We still have a few surprises coming up for April that I can’t wait to share with everyone!
My nephew Jacob (aka Jakey) has been doing a great job! We love having him here after school and he tells me he loves his job. I keep forgetting to take a picture of him in the bunker working, so for now I’ll have to just show him when he is being the awesome big cousin that he always is with Zach.
I am so thankful that we have Jakey working for us, my Mom and Dad have sold their home and will be moving into a condo in the next few weeks so they are pretty busy with all the work that goes into moving from a home that they have lived in for 39 years. I’ve called that “home” since I was 3 and will really miss it. Growing up in the country with lots of woods to explore in the summer, a barn filled with animals (which was later turned into an office when I was a teenager), a big yard to run around in and a pool; it was a great place to be a kid and I think that is what makes me sad is that the boys won’t be able to enjoy it any longer. But, my parents are getting older and they just cannot take care of it all any more and they are ready to make this change. I know they are going to love their new home and they are going to be able to relax a bit more. Plus they will be only 6 minutes down the road! Big bonus!
The end of March and April are shaping up to be pretty busy months! Make sure you subscribe to our newsletter and check in our Facebook page for all the latest sneaks and Cocoa Daisy news!
Have a wonderful week and make sure to join us on Thursday the 28th for the full reveal of our April kit at 9pm EST.
